Stocks Market today. Today was a slow day, turnover was light, and the market is slowly drowning. Evidently above the market were stocks of Polyus Gold and Polymetal, which spiked upwards following the precious metals prices. Some really decent demand during the second half hit Rosneft, after Goldman Sachs published a recommendation on given security.

Starting with this report we begin reviewing activities of Gazprom subsidiaries: Elektrogaz, Orgenergogaz, Centerenergogaz and Gazenergoservice. Companies that conduct over 90% of their work on behalf of Gazprom. The net income of Sollers (former Severstal-Avto) in 1H 2008 under IAS had increased +20% to 59 mn USD, reported Mikhail Sobolev, company’s financial director this Wednesday. Company’s revenue increased by 41% and formed 1.262 bn USD. EBITDA added 37% and reached 152 mn USD.

Stocks - Market today. During the day both Russian fund markets were closed. Everybody’s attention was concentrate on REPO market. During the afternoon, when stabilizing measures were applied, REPO received RUR assets gained by Sberbank and VTB, decreasing the quotes rates and allowed to buy in. Meanwhile, Russian ADR are traded in positive zone.
