On Friday the Russian share market went high to December 2008 levels. Players’ activity grew 4 times. Demand was concentrated on the shares of the oil-and-gas sector, which was supported by improvement of oil market conjuncture. Support to the RTS index came from behalf of the international grounds that showed positive dynamics during the day. At 3:30 pmMoscow time MichiganUniversity’s index on consumers’ trust in the economy of the U.S. came out and has unexpectedly climbed. That provoked the investors to new deals. Quotes upping of the main specter of the liquid shares, was within the range from 1% to 11%. Besides the oil sector, Norilsk Nickel was interesting due to growth by 8.32%.

Federal antimonopoly service of RF approved claims of AFK Sistema on purchase of majority portfolios in 5 companies of Bashkir FEC, imparts Interfax, referring to the official representative of the service.

Ø Sistema leaves MTT.
AFK Sistema signed an agreement with Sinterra, CJSC on selling 50% of voting shares (43,4% of authorized capital stock) of Intraregional TransitTelecom, JSC (MTT). According to the message of Sistema, Sinterra also will be responsible for MTT’s debt payoff to Sistema. As expected, the amount of the deal will total 54 mn USD.
Ø Operational results of AvtoVAZ for the first two months.
In February 2009 29.3 thousand LADA vehicles, manufactured by AvtoVAZ, JSC were sold in Russia, which approximately matches January estimate.
Ø GAZ is once again prosecuted.
Severstal, JSC directed 2 claims to Arbitrage court of Vologda region on collecting about 400 mn RUR from GAZ group.
