Yesterday Russian stock market was moving in a narrow range. Throughout Sunday’s trades Russian quotes have absorbed all the changes occurring through the second half of last week and after trading session opened, investors froze in waiting for news off foreign grounds. Trades at European and US stock indices were calm – as changes of indicators were mild.

RTS remained virtually unchanged throughout the day – while its close value formed 2141.35 points (+0.02% to close of Sunday). The top support for indicator was provided by stock of Sberbank (+2.18%), Hydro-WGC (+2.67%) and VTB (+1.3%).Some weak resistance was formed by stock of LUKOIL (-0.94%0, Gazprom (-0.6%) and Norilsk Nickel (-0.98%).

Turnover volumes of RTS have totaled 39.6 mn USD. As the most of it was sprayed amongst stock of Sberbank (18.7 mn USD), UES (5.1 mn USD0 and Norilsk Nickel (4.7 mn USD).

External factors of Russian stock market are currently weak. Therefore we cannot exclude for market to drop today. However, the drop is not likely to be serious – we expect RTS to lose about -0.5-1%.
