The trading week started calmly at the Russian share market – the turnover was low due to holidays in Europe, and the quotes moved insignificantly. Selling mainly prevailed among the shares of oil-and-gas sector, which followed the dynamics of “black oil” price at the international grounds. Along with that there was a significant upping on other directions. So, the power energy sector indicated rally and also the producers of non-ferrous metals. Note that there was no important and significant news came out among the power energy companies, however, the demand was serious and quotes grew significantly. In the segment of non-ferrous metallurgy the mood was set by Norilsk Nickel, which won back the news on delay of treasuries’ placement.

WGC-1 will reduce expenses of investment program by 10-15%.
WGC-1 intends to reduce expenses for executing three priority projects of the company at Kashirskaya, Nizhnevartovskaya and UrengoyskayaState district power plants (SDPP) by 10-15%. According to the representative of the company, demand of WGC-1 of the investments till 2012 is estimated in 2.5 bn USD, at the same time the deficit totals 1.3 bn USD. The expenses are planned to be reduced on items like “materials”, “equipment”, “building and installation”.
